Patricia Drain, past Chairman of NAPS, has called Danny, "Not just the best speaker we’ve ever had, the most important speaker we’ve ever had.” In 2005, NAPS gave Danny a Lifetime Achievement Award, the only trainer to ever receive this award.
His Guru qualifications:
- He actively runs a large, growing search firm, with seemingly impossible tenure
- He owns and Manages AccordingToDanny.com, the first and only E learning and training concern dedicated to recruiters.
- He is a Chairperson for the Pinnacle Society, and personally mentors on an ongoing basis, many of the Society’s top producers, one of whom writes, “He has changed my life. Without his material, I’d bill a lot less, without access to his inspiration and humor, I’d enjoy it less.”
Danny has always been a cutting edge contrarian. Concepts like:
Relationship Recruiting
Counteroffer as Process not Event
National Niche Specialization
Breaking through the Retainer Glass Ceiling
…are now accepted ways of doing business, but were originally championed by Danny. He has adapted his search firm and his training methods not just in response to the market, but before the market changes.
So what’s new? What’s on his mind? He’s predicting a Brave New World. You’ll have to re tool your desk in order to be successful. Come hear Danny lay it out. But don’t take it too seriously. In the words of Pinnacle superstar, Richie Harris, “Look, Danny’s a great recruiter, and has a lot of foresight and acumen, but that’s not why I always go to hear him. The guy is flat out funny.”

He went on to a management career in the corporate world with California and New York based companies upon graduation. Having met exceptional recruiters that inspired him along the way while contributing to his early career success, he joined the staffing industry in 1987 … one month after the stock market crash of that year. Today IRES provides executive retained search, contingency staffing services and merger & acquisition consulting services to the property and casualty insurance, investment banking, and other industries across the United States. Frank has been an expert witness and business spokesperson on recruiting, workforce, unemployment and marketplace trends to the federal as well as state governments. He was the first and only recruiter appointed by the Christie Whitman administration (former two term New Jersey governor) to serve on a prestigious New Jersey state Department of Labor advisory board, a position he held for six years involving advising the commissioner of Labor as well as Secretary of Commerce and Industry. During his first decade he founded other companies including a temporary/contract services firm, and an online career forum which were both profitable and spun off. Frank is a sought after speaker at national, regional, and local conferences & events held by professional and trade associations both within and outside of the recruiting and staffing industry.

Jeff isn’t a trainer who tells you what he use to do, or what you should do, he shares with you the best practices from his very successful business, his very successful desk. Along the way he has created a few best practices of his own…proven email marketing; creating passive candidate networks with his RADICAL RECRUITING© process; using testimonials; developing THE process for TORPEDOING Counteroffers©; and most recently, re-engineering reference checking to make it the core process of his desk, annually driving over 50% of his revenues. Jeff knows your business.
