NEAPS - Who are we?
The New England Association of Personnel Services (NEAPS) is a "long-term" temporary partnership of the New England state and regional Associations. The NEAPS exists simply for the purpose of delivering an annual conference that will allow us to learn, network and have some fun! We are comprised of the State and/or Regional Associations listed just below. Folks ask all the time how they can join and we explain that it is, in fact, easy! Simply join the state or regional association where you conduct business. Even if you are not in New England, we welcome you to participate in any or all of the following associations:
The Connecticut Association of Personnel Services (CAPS), which covers Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York can be found at www.caps.org
The Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services (MAPS), which covers Massachusetts and Rhode Island can be found at www.mapsweb.org
The Northern New England Association of Personnel Services (NNEAPS), which covers Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine can be found at www.nneaps.org
Each year, the New England Association of Personnel Services "partners" with a charitable organization. Through the proceeds from our annual "Silent Auction," we are able to assist every year. This year's partner, we are proud to announce, is The Richie McFarland Children’s Center. The Richie McFarland Children’s Center (RMCC) is an early childhood program whose purpose is to help young children reach their full developmental potential and to support their families through that process. Lifetime Achievement Awards
Each year, the New England Association of Personnel Services (NEAPS) Conference Committee awards a deserving member/contributor The Lifetime Achievement Award. What can you say about it? The answer actually is implied in the list below. Each of these recepients has given so much of their time, way beyond the call of duty. And, certainly not for the recognition. Each of these individuals does this to give back, to improve our profession, to show others that it can be done and to provide more for their colleagues. Conference Registration Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are permitted prior to 30 days from the start of the conference. The NEAPS reserves the right to deny cancellations within 30 days of the event. If a cancellation is allowed, there is a $150 handling charge for each cancellation.
